The Oslo Writers League (OWL) is an organisation for authors and writers from all ways of life, who live in the Oslo area. It was founded in 2012 and made into a legal entity in 2018. 

We meet once a month to talk about all forms of writing and issues that affect writers, assist our members with their manuscripts and projects, and we produce a biennial anthology of short fiction, essays and poetry.

We are proud to be an ongoing source of mutual support, development and, most importantly, inspiration for writers in the Oslo area.

Meetings are held monthly at the main library, Deichmanske Bjørvika.
